Former President of the Jamaica Table Tennis Association Godfrey Lothian is dead.

Lothian a long serving officer at the institute of sports died suddenly this morning from an apparent heart attack as was confirmed to Irie Fm sports by his daughter.

Lothian was a long time president of the JTTA. but he lost his position to Andrew Lue earlier this year after an almost two-year long court battle.

He served as president for seven years.

At the time of his passing Lothian a well rounded sports administrator was president of the Kingston and St Andrew cricket association and president of the Greenwich Town football club.

The management and staff here at Irie Fm especially the sports department would like to express our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the late Godfrey Lothian.
