Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke has sought to assure that the Government is more inclined to producing a bubbling up economy, and not the trickle down economy as implied by the Opposition.

The minister was responding to comments made by the Opposition Leader and Spokesman on Finance during their contribution to the budget debate.

In closing the debate this afternoon (Mar 20) Dr. Clarke said the government is taking steps to empower the people, make them independent, instead of depending on trickle down.

He said raising the GCT threshold and creating a fund for small businesses will boost the economy for all.
