The government has expedited its response measures relating to repair works on the Troy Bridge on the Trelawny/Manchester border.

The move comes in the wake of concerns by residents, the opposition, and other interest groups about the situation which is adversely affecting citizens, especially students.

Speaking in parliament yesterday, Prime Minister Andrew Holness sought to assure residents of Troy that their concerns about the bridge are being addressed.
