The country should know by the second week of February, which sporting and entertainment events will be approved by the government for vaccinated patrons.
Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton said the matter was discussed at a recent cabinet meeting, and that he, along with colleague ministers, Desmond Mckenzie and Olivia Grange, will be holding further deliberations.
Dr Tufton said a calendar of approved events will be published soon.
He explained that the aim is to have events in a controlled setting.
Dr Tufton said the Health Ministry’s electronic database will be used to verify people‘s vaccination status.
He added that several factors will be taken into consideration, in the selection of the vaccination only approved events.
