The education ministry will be rolling out a solar energy pilot programme in thirty schools across the island next year.

Education Minister Fayval Williams says the implementation of the solar units will begin in the first quarter of 2023.

She notes that the results of the pilot project will determine whether the project is expanded or discontinued.
