Residents in Green pond St. James have staged a protest demanding justice over the killing of a man last week reportedly by police.

The residents say they are frustrated and have been forced to take things into their own hands, as they are not getting any justice.

They are also claiming that this is not the only time that police have acted in a heavy handed manner in relation to community members.

The Independent Commission of Investigations (Indecom) is probing the death of the man.

Debris and trees were used to block the Green Pond main road in the vicinity of Farm Primary and Junior High School.

One resident says the residents want help.
