Health Minister says the sector is better able to manage Covid-19, having gone through 3 surges

Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says the health sector is better able to manage Covid 19, having gone through three previous surges in cases.

He states that the efforts of the frontline workers have allowed the country to break the back of the third wave.

Meanwhile the Health Minister says there are lessons to be learnt from the pandemic.

According to him, there must be a holistic approach to public health.

He is also urging persons to take better care of themselves.

He spoke yesterday (December 5), at a function organized by the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce at the Montego Bay Convention Center, to honour frontline workers.
