by November 8th, 2019

Dr. Christopher Tufton has invited female dancehall deejay Stylysh to have a talk with him about the current state of Jamaica’s public hospitals.

Dr. Tufton reached out to Stylysh via Instagram direct messages, following her complaints of neglect and mediocre treatment at a public hospital earlier this week, were brought to his attention.

In his messages to Stylysh, Dr. Tufton apologized for the unacceptable treatment, and extended an invitation for a discussion, stating that feedback is always appreciated, as it helps with the efforts to fix the system.

Stylysh who was involved in a car accident on Sunday said she had to transfer to the University Hospital of the West Indies mid-week after she became displeased with the treatment she received at the Spanish Town Hospital.

Currently, still in the hospital, Stylysh has shared that as soon as she gets out, and recovers, she will try to meet with the Health Minister to do whatever she can to help make the Spanish Town Hospital better.
