Three more persons have died from COVID-19, bringing the country’s death tally to 2,391.

They are two females, aged 82 and 87 from St. Catherine; and a 69-year-old male from Kingston and St. Andrew.

Meantime, 53 more persons have tested positive for the virus, pushing the case count to 91,222.

Of the new cases, 34 are females and 19 are males. They range in age from 1 to 91 years.

All parishes recorded new cases.  The positivity rate is 7%.

A total of 165 persons are hospitalized; 26 are moderately ill, 24 are severely ill and 9 are critically ill.

The Ministry notes that 95 more persons have recovered from the virus, pushing recoveries to 62,539.
