The Health Ministry will suspend administering the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine effective Friday, in order to ensure that persons due their second shot will get it.

Speaking at Thursday’s COVID Conversations press briefing Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton said the ministry is awaiting a definitive response from the United States, on the delivery of another batch of Pfizer vaccines.

He said all persons due their second dose should go to the vaccination site, as scheduled.
