Another public sector group has signed a deal with the Government under the restructured compensation system.

The Ministry of Finance today (December 9) signed an agreement with health records officers in the public health system and their union – the Union of Technical Administrative and Supervisory Personnel (UTASP).

UTASP represents more than 1,000 health records officers who create, maintain and administer the records of patients in hospitals, health centres and clinics across Jamaica.

The majority of the country’s public sector workers have now signed deals with the Government under the new compensation system, which will be implemented over three years with an effective date of April 1, 2022.
