INDECOM probing another incident involving JDF soldier in Denham Town, Kingston

The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM is probing an incident in which a woman was injured, in Denham Town, Kingston yesterday (April 21).

A Jamaica Defence Force, JDF soldier was reportedly involved in the incident.

In a statement last evening, the Jamaica Defence Force said it is aware of an incident involving the injury of a civilian, which occurred in the Denham Town Zone of Special Operation, ZOSO.

Details of the incident were not provided.

Assistant Commissioner of INDECOM, Hamish Campbell told Irie Fm News that INDECOM received a report about the matter.

He said during the incident, a dog was shot and killed, while the woman was injured.

Yesterdays incident comes just days after another in Denham Town, in which 32 year old, Horaine Glenn, was killed, allegedly by a JDF soldier.

The killing sparked protests and road blocks by upset residents, over multiple days.
