by April 26th, 2019

Opposition Senator Lambert Brown has cried shame on the Integrity Commission, over the protracted delay in tabling the report on the controversial sale of a UDC resort property in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

Senator Brown has long called for the report about the Rooms on the Beach property, citing the need for the houses of parliament, and the public to be aware of the dealings.

When the list of documents tabled were presented in the Senate this afternoon ( Apl 26) Brown lamented that even after being promised, the Rooms report was not included.

Senator Brown noted that the issue is tantamount to contempt of parliament, by the Integrity Commission.

Despite assurance from Senate President Tom Tavares Finson that the report will be tabled soon, Senator Brown called for the intervention of the Governor General.
