Nominations for the 38th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) are now open.

Fans are being given the chance to nominate their favorites, by visiting the IRAWMA website at www.irawma.com to submit nominations across 36 categories, inclusive of the IRIE FM sponsored Peter Tosh Award for Recording Artiste of the Year.

In addition to the 36 categories for open nominations, special awards will also be given in 3 more categories bringing the grand total, to 39 possible awards.

Established in 1982, the IRAWMA awards seeks to acknowledge and honour the accomplishments and contributions of reggae artistes, inclusive of songwriters, performers, promoters, and musicians.

Following on the success of this years staging, the 2020 staging will once again, return to Jamaica for the fifth time. The 38th annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) is scheduled for Sunday March 29, 2020 at the AC Marriott Hotel, in Kingston.
