The entertainment industry is in mourning following the shocking death of former Third World percussionist, Irvin ‘Carrot’ Jarrett.

Music News understands that “Carrot” was allegedly found dead at his home Tuesday (July 31).

He was part of the classic line-up of the Third World and played on some of the band’s hit songs including 96° in the Shade, Always Around and Now That We Found Love .

Irvin ‘Carrot’ Jarrett left the band Third World in the 1980s,and was touching lives as a holistic health provider since the 1990s.
