The blue ribbon 100 meters events at the ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships this year will be contested on Tuesday and Wednesday as the organizers make a significant tweek of the Champs schedule.

The tweek of the 100 meters schedule is to help to minimize athletes getting injured – The tweek of the schedule has also been extended to the 1500 and 800 meters events.

ISSA’s President Keith Wellington made the revelation while speaking on IRIE Fm’s Whats The Score show.

The move by ISSA was endorsed by top coach and track and field analyst Raymond KC Graham.

The 2022 ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Champs will run from April 5 to 9 inside the National Stadium.

Permission has been granted for 15 thousand vaccinated spectators to attend the five day event.
