The issuing of marriage licenses, especially to visitors who choose to have their wedding at a hotel in Jamaica, has turned out to be financially lucrative for the Government, this past year.

Justice Minister Delroy Chuck revealed in Parliament today that marriage licences issued over the past few months have generated over 34 million dollars.

Minister Chuck was making his contribution to the Sectoral Debate today (May 4).
