“It’s a Girl!” Usain Bolt and his pregnant girlfriend, Kasi Bennett shared the joyous news on the weekend.

The special event for family and close friends saw fireworks. The mom-and-dad-to-be wore matching white hoodies with the “Girl Dad” and “Girl Mom” in the back to reveal the sex of the baby.

This is the first child for Usain Bolt and Kasi Bennett who have been together for a while.

Recently, Usain Bolt told NBC Sports that he always wanted to have a son to follow the legacy. However, he said the ESPN tribute to Kobe Bryant — in which ESPN anchor Elle Duncan talked about Bryant’s pride in being a “#Girldad” made him reconsider.

In the interview Bolt said: “I could see in his eyes how much he loved his girls, I would love to have that feeling.”
