Conscious reggae singer Jah9 today released a 13-minute documentary entitled Note To Self, an introduction to accompany the release of her third studio album of the same name.

Directed by Fernando F. Hevia and Samo Kush, the documentary, Note To Self, gives context to the album by using core themes from the 15-track project into a series of visual tales that connect at the root.

Meanwhile, in four days, Jah9’s third studio album, Note To Self, will be officially released on March 13 by VP Records.

Co-produced entirely by Jah9, the album features some of Jamaica’s top producers and musicians, including Clive Hunt, Jeremy Harding, Romario “Runkus” Bennett, and Romaine Arnett for Zinc Fence Records.
