by September 1st, 2022

The Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) is reporting that measures put in place in recent years to stem corruption are yielding results

JCA Commissioner Velma Ricketts Walker says anti-corruption initiatives remain at the forefront of the agency’s operations, and that the agency stands ready to fight against illicit activities.

She notes that new technology has allowed the JCA to access data and other important information to aid in its fight against local and transnational crime.

She says new modules will soon be added to the ASYCUDA system.
