Jamaica drawn in Group A’ of the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship

Jamaica has been drawn in group a’ of the Concacaf Beach Soccer championship later this month.

The Jamaicans will tackle Mexico, Costa Rica and Guatemala in the May 13-19 event which will be staged at the in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Veterans : Jermaine tuffy’ Anderson, Kevin ‘Pele Wilson and Edsel Scott are included in the reggae boys beach soccer line up, which is completed by-  Mitchily  Waul ,  Ryan Powell , Ryan George, Andrew Peddlar, Andrew Anthony,  Xavian Virgo, Barrington Planter, Kevin Nicholas, Renae Valdano  Rohan Reid, Gregory Simpson  and Kirk Porter .

Sixteen regional teams are set to compete for the confederation’s beach soccer title and the two available spots in the FIFA beach soccer world cup which will be staged in Paraguay later this year.

The Jamaicans will open their account against Costa Rica on Monday, before tackling Mexico on Tuesday and then close out the group stage with a match up against Guatemala on Wednesday.

Panama are the defending champions.
