Jamaica’s Reggae Girls have been drawn in Group B at the Concacaf Women’s Championships to be played in the United States from October 4 to 17.
As well as the Jamaicans, Group B also included Cuba, Canada and Costa Rica.
The Reggae Girls will open their campaign against Canada on October 5 at Edinburg, Texas.
The recently crowned Caribbean champions will then face Costa Rica on the October 8th and Cubans on the 11th.
Group A meanwhile comprises defending champions United States, Mexico, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago.
The top 2 from each group advances to semifinals.
The top 3 finishers in the competition will earn automatic qualification to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
The team that ends 4th will enter an inter-continental play-off with Argentina.
