Jamaica drawn in group C’ at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup

Jamaica has been drawn in group C’ at the 2019 fifa women’s world cup to be staged next summer in France.

This following today’s draw in the French capital, where the reggae girls who made history when they finished third in the Concacaf world cup qualifiers this year, will match up against south American giants brazil, along with Italy and Australia.

The draw comes a day after the news that the reggae girlz are ranked 53rd in the latest FIFA world rankings…..their highest ranking in the country’s history.

Meanwhile, the host France will tackle south Korea ………1995 winners Norway, and the African champions the Super Falcons Nigeria in group A’.

Three times winners and defending champions USA are drawn in group F’ alongside Chile who will be making their debut, in addition to Thailand and Sweden.

Another Concacaf women’s team in Canada who finished as runners up in the regional women’s world cup qualifiers will play in group E’ , where they will meet Cameroon, the football ferns – new Zealand and Netherlands.

2011 winners Japan will battle Argentina, Scotland and England in group D, while group B’ consists of two time winners Germany, China and Spain.
