Jamaica to host Group B of CFU Women’s Challenge Series

Jamaica is to host Group B of the CFU Women’s Challenge Series in April.

The competition, set for April 18-29, is being contested by 20 teams, split into five groups of four.

Group B will be based at the UWI JFF Captain Horace Burrell Center of Excellence in Mona.

As well as Jamaica it also includes Barbados, Cuba and Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Jamaicans will open against Turks and Caicos on April 18 before facing Barbados on April 20 and Cuba on April 22.

Group A, based in St. Kitts, features St. Lucia, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Group C includes hosts Haiti, Martinique, Dominican Republic and US Virgin Islands.

Over in Group D Antigua and Barbuda is joined by Curacao, Guadeloupe and Montserrat, while in Group E, home team Trinidad and Tobago will face Grenada, Guyana and Suriname

The games will be played at Warner Park (St. Kitts), Stade Sylvia Cator (Haiti), Antigua Recreation Ground (Antigua) and Ato Boldon Stadium (Trinidad).

Medals will be awarded to the group winners and runners-up.
