Jamaica set to become the first Caribbean nation to host an International Lacrosse tournament.

Jamaica is set to become the first Caribbean nation to host an International Lacrosse tournament.

This as the Jamaica Lacrosse Association in collaboration with the Jamaica Olympic Association was granted the right to stage the 2023 Pan-American Sixes Cup from November 9-11 at Sabina Park.

Over 600 players from 13 countries including Jamaica are set to compete in the two day event that features.

Among the countries down to participate are Argentina, Barbados, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Hau-deno-sau-nee, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Us Virgin Islands and North American 

Jamaica currently has a world ranking of 13th on the men’s side and 28th on the female side in Lacrose.
