The Central Committee of the Jamaica Police Federation met yesterday (February 7) to discuss matters regarding the Government’s wage offer.
This, after the island’s rank and file police officers, rejected the latest wage and fringe benefits offer made by the Government last week.
At the end of the poll on Friday, 39 per cent voted to accept, while 61 per cent voted to reject the offer.
Chairman of the Federation, Corporal Rohan James told IRIE FM news, that official communication of the rejection has been sent to the Finance Ministry.
