Jamaica records 131 new Covid-19 cases

131 more people have tested positive for Covid-19, pushing the country’s case count to 145,983.

Of the new cases, 81 are females and 50 are males.

They range in age from 4 months to 90 years.

The positivity rate has increased to 26.5 per cent.

The Health Ministry says one death is under investigation.

Meantime, 102 people are hospitalized with the virus. 19 are moderately ill, 7 are severely ill, and 2 are critically ill.

There have been 93 more recoveries.
