Two more persons have died from Covid-19 in the country.

The deceased are two males from St. Elizabeth aged 80 and 91.

The country’s Covid-19 death toll is now 2,837.

Meantime, 27 new cases were recorded yesterday (March 9), pushing the tally to 128,273.

Of the new cases 11 are males and 16 are females, ranging in age from 1 to 94 years.

The positivity rate is 3.3 per cent.

The Health Ministry says 80 persons are hospitalised with the virus.

16 of them are moderately ill, 2 severely ill and 2 critically ill.

98 persons have recovered.
