Jamaica has recorded 26 new Covid-19 cases, pushing the country’s case count to 128,950.
Of the new cases, 13 are females and 13 are males.
They range in age from 5 months to 75 years.
St. James recorded the highest number of cases with 7, followed by Clarendon with 6.
The positivity rate is 3 per cent.
The Health Ministry is also reporting 2 new Covid-19 related deaths.
The deceased are a 65-year-old man from St. James, and an 81-year old man from St. Catherine.
Their deaths occurred last year.
16 people are hospitalised with the virus, while 83 more have recovered.
