Jamaica has recorded 30 new covid-19 cases, pushing the country’s tally to 9,959.
Of the new cases, 13 are males and 17 females, with ages ranging from 7 to 89 years.
St. James had the highest number of cases with 8, Hanover had 7 and Trelawny saw 6 cases. St. Catherine reported 4 cases, Westmoreland saw 3, and Manchester and St. Elizabeth had 1 case each.
There was no new death; however, the health ministry says 2 deaths are under investigation.
Meantime, there were 8 new recoveries pushing that total to 5,338.
4,256 cases are active.
81 patients are hospitalized, 11 are moderately ill, while 6 are critically ill.
