Jamaica records 329 new Covid-19 cases and 3 additional deaths

Three hundred and twenty-nine (329) new Covid 19 cases were detected yesterday (December 30).

They push the country’s case count to 93,920.

The new cases consist of 199 females and 130 males ranging in age from 1 to 94 years.

Kingston and St. Andrew had the highest number of cases with 171, followed by St. James with 42.

The positivity rate is 27 percent.

Meantime there were 3 deaths, pushing the death tally to 2,473.

The deceased range in age from 73 to 86 years and they were from St. Catherine, Clarendon and Kingston and St. Andrew
