Jamaica records 366 new Covid-19 cases; positivity rate increases to 37.9 per cent

Jamaica’s Covid positivity rate has increased to 37.9 per cent, as 366 more people have tested positive for the virus.

Of the new cases, 216 are females and 150 are males.

They range in age from 3 months to 83 years.

St. James recorded the highest number of new cases with 94.

The Health Ministry has also reported 3 new Covid-19 related deaths.

The deceased are males from St. Catherine and Westmoreland.

They range in age from 82 to 90 years.

74 persons are hospitalised with the virus.
