Jamaica records 385 new Covid-19 cases and 2 more deaths

Jamaica has recorded 385 new Covid-19 cases.

The overall case count is now 96,331.

Of the new cases 247 are females and 138 are males, they range in age from 18 days to 94 years.

All parishes recorded new cases, Kingston and St. Andrew recorded the highest with 153 followed by St. James with 52.

The positivity rate is 40.6 per cent.

Meantime, 2 more deaths have been recorded.

The deceased are two men aged 42 and 67. They lived in Kingston & St. Andrew

The death toll is now 2,479.

172 persons are in hospital, among them 20 are severely ill, 40 are moderately ill and 4 are critically ill.

Meantime, 127 more persons have recovered, pushing that tally to 66,064.
