Jamaica records 61 new Covid-19 cases

Jamaica has recorded 61 new Covid-19 cases.

They are 34 females and 27 males, ranging in age from 1 to 89 years.

Kingston and St. Andrew had the highest number of new cases with 21 followed by St. James with 16.

The positivity rate is 14.1 per cent.

One more Covid-19 related death has been reported.

The deceased is a 55-year-old man from Kingston and St. Andrew who died in March.

99 persons are hospitalized with the virus.
