Jamaica has recorded another locally transmitted Monkeypox case.

The Health Ministry says the case was recorded last week, and is a male from Kingston and St. Andrew.

This pushes the total number of cases recorded in the Corporate Area to 6, and the country’s case count to 13.

Meantime two more people have recovered, pushing total recoveries to 5.

The suspected death which was reported last week is still under investigation.
