Jamaica remains in 54th in latest FIFA/Coca Cola World rankings

Jamaica remains in 54th place overall and fourth in Concacaf in the FIFA/Coca Cola World Men’s rankings released today, while world cup champions France are now the sole leaders.

Jamaica leads the Caribbean, ahead of curacao in 81st spot and Trinidad comes next in 91st position.

Regional giants Mexico despite slipping a place leads Concacaf, with the United States who rose three places lying second, and costa -Rica sitting third.

World cup winners France rose six spots to top the rankings, ahead of Belgium, and Brazil who slipped a place to third, while beaten world cup finalist Croatia climbed a whopping 16 places to fourth while Uruguay moved up 9 places to round out the top five.

Their disaster at the world cup is still being felt as 2014 champions Germany slipped from first to 15th place.
