Jamaicans are being urged to brace for more rainfall starting this evening (August 12).

This as Tropical Depression Fred is projected to move just north of Cuba this evening into Friday (August 13), and is expected to induce a trough across Jamaica during this time.

The forecast is for periods of showers and thunderstorms to start affecting sections of central and eastern parishes tonight before extending to the remainder of the island tomorrow.
