Jamaican Williams Myers will race the 2020 Formula 4 United States Championship with the Group-A Racing team.

Myers, is fresh off his debut season Radical SR3 Caribbean Cup champion win in 2019, is a two-time Jamaica Race Drivers Club class champion, having won championships in 2016 and 2018 while racing at Dover Raceway and Jamwest Speedway.

“I am extremely happy to join the F4 U.S. Championship with Group-A Racing” stated Myers who made the announcement on Friday.

“With limited seat time before the beginning of season as well as it being my first time racing at any of these tracks means I will have a lot of learning to do this year.”

He further added “I have no doubt the Group-A team and I will work together to be great competitors this coming season. I’m looking forward to a lot of learning, racing and fun!”

The move to the six-event Formula 4 United States Championship sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing, the professional racing division of the SCCA, in conjunction with ACCUS, the United States representative to the FIA represents a significant step for Myers, paving the way for progression through the FIA’s Formula cars system.
