Fresh from celebrating their first win at the 2019 World Squash Federation team championships in Washington yesterday, Jamaica’s squash players will be back in action this afternoon.
They are down to face Singapore again following victory over the same opponents yesterday
The Chris Binnie led team won yesterday’s game 2-1 to rebound from disappointing losses over the previous two days.
Binnie defeated Samuel Kang 11-9, 11-8, 12-10 while Lewis Walters overcame Chua Man Tong 12-10, 12-10, 11-3.
However, Tahjia Lumley lost to Brandon Tan 8-11, 6-11, 8-11.
Prior to yesterday the Jamaicans began their campaign with 3-NIL losses to Australia and Hong Kong followed by a 2-1 loss to Kuwait.
