Jamaica’s reggae boyz will end the year as the 54th ranked team in the world.

That’s arising out of the final FIFA/Coca Cola world rankings list for 2018 which was published today.

The reggae boyz are the fourth ranked Concacaf team as Mexico leads the region at number 17 ahead of the United States at 25 and Costa Rica 26.

Honduras at 62, El Salvador ranked 70 ,  Panama 71 and Trinidad and Tobago 92 are the only other Concacaf teams in the top 100.

In the meantime Belgium will end the year as the top ranked team ahead of world cup winners France.

Brazil are number 3 and world cup runners-up Croatia are number 4 in a mostly unchanged monthly ranking.

England and Portugal, are 5 and 6 while Uruguay, Switzerland, Spain, and Denmark complete the top 10.

Senegal at 23 is Africa’s highest ranked team.
