Jamaica’s reggae girls set to face a full strength Panama team

Jamaica’s reggae girls are set to face a full strength Panama team when they play their farewell match on local soil before the FIFA women’s world cup in France next month.

The Jamaica football federation is confirming that the same panama team the reggae girl’s face in the deciding game in the Concacaf world cup qualifying round played in Frisco Texas, last October will travel to Jamaica on May 17 for the international friendly against the reggae girls on May 19.

Assistant coach Andrew price expressed the view ‘that this is excellent as the coaching staff will get its wish for a highly competitive match against a strong opponent on home soil before leaving for the journey to france”.

The reggae girls will play Brazil, Italy and Australia in the group stage of the Women’s World Cup which runs from June 7 to July 7.
