Jamaica’s suffers 6 wickets loss to Windward Islands in regional Under 19 Competition

Jamaica’s youth cricketers went down to by six wickets to the Windward Islands in their opening game of the regional under 19 one day tournament at Cumberland in St. Vincent today.

Batting first the Jamaicans were dismissed for 159 in 48.5 overs.

They were led by Carlos Brown who made a patient 70 off 87 balls against Shermill Lewis and Johnel Eugene were the pick of the windward Island bowlers with 3 wickets each.

The windward in reply romped to their winning target at 164 for 4.

Kimani Melius cracked 86 while Jahson Alexander supported with 56.

Sanjay Brown was the pick of the Jamaican bowlers with 2 for 22
