Jamaica’s young women cricketers suffered back to back losses on the opening day of the regional under 19 Women’s Cricket Championship in Trinidad.

The Jamaicans first suffered a 37 runs loss to the Windward Islands.

The windward first posted 103 for 9 in their 20 overs and then restricted to the Jamaicans to 66 for 9.

In the afternoon session a Canadian development team defeated the Jamaicans by seven wickets.

Scores Jamaica 86 for 8, Canada 87 for 3.
