by August 5th, 2019

The Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) says it is planning to launch agricultural shows in all parishes.

President of the JAS Lenworth Fulton made the announcement while speaking at the Denbigh Agricultural show underway in Clarendon.

Noting that there are already agricultural shows in Trelawny, St. Ann, Hanover among others, he said the JAS is looking to extend to other parishes.

Meantime, the JAS President is calling for more financial resources to be allocated to the hosting of the shows.

He is urging the government and private sector to offer budgetary support.
