JAS urges farmers to secure animals, following 2 fatal crashes involving cattle in Westmoreland, this week

In light of recent fatal crashes involving cattle, the Jamaica Agricultural Society, JAS, is urging farmers to take steps to ensure that their animals do not stray along roadways.

 

Since the start of the week, two people were killed in crashes involving cattle in Westmoreland.

 

Speaking with Irie FM News JAS President, Lenworth Fulton said it is important that farmers secure their animals.

 

 

He is also urging the authorities to clamp down on farmers who do not comply.
