Jason Holder highest ranked West Indian on ICC All rounders chart

West Indies captain Jason Holder is the highest ranked West Indian at 7th in the all-rounder’s category of the ICC/MRF Tyres one day international chart, while spinner Sunil Narine sits in 12th place  as the highest Caribbean man on the bowling list.

Holder also occupies position number 26 in the bowling department.

Afghanistan legspinner Rashid khan and India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah have jointly risen to the top spot.

The 19 year old Rashid has now become the youngest ever no.1 in the men’s rankings history. The pair displaced South Africa Leg-spinner Imran Tahir, who slid to sixth spot after taking only one wicket in four ODI at home against India.

Rashid took 16 wickets in five matches against Zimbabwe recently, at an outstanding average of 7. 93.

The others in the top five include Trent Boult of new Zealand, Australia’s josh Hazelwood and Pakistan’s medium pacer Hasan Ali .

Sunile Narine in 12th place is the highest ranked West Indian inside the top 20 bowling chart, with Jason holder 6 places below at 26.

The ODI batting rankings meanwhile is being led by india’s Virat kholi, with Jamaican Marlon Samuels the highest ranked Caribbean man at 53.

The other West Indians in the top 100 include, Shai hope at 71, Jason holder at 72, followed by Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo in positions 74 and 75 respectively, while Johnson Charles at 88 and Keiron Pollard at 94 completes the list.
