World Championship relay silver medallist Javon Francis has officially parted company with the Michael Clarke coached AKAN track club.

It was officially confirmed today that Francis has decided to train in Texas, USA with coach Darryl Woodson and his training ground elite group for  the  2018/2019  season  and  beyond

The release stated that Francis  believes  that  this  will  further  help  with  his  development  in  becoming  a  world  class 400 meters athlete.

According to Dalton Myers a member of Francis’ management team he (Francis) had made the decision a while back and it was never something that he was hiding.

In the meantime Francis thanked Clarke whom he said has not only been his coach but a mentor to him for the past seven years from junior to the senior level.
