Jazmine Finlator-Victorian and Carrie Russell completes impressive practice run at Winter Olympics

Jamaica’s women’s bobsleigh team of Jazmine Finlator-Victorian  and Carrie Russell made a big improvement to number six in their second training run at the winter Olympics in Pyeongchang Russia today.

The pair who had finished 14th out of a field of 20 in the first run leapt to number 6 in the second run with a time of 51.75 seconds at the Olympic sliding centre.

The German pair of Stephanie Schneider and Annika Drazek came out on top in the training run in 51.54 seconds.

Meanwhile Finlator- Victorian and Russell will begin their quest to become Jamaica’s first ever medallists at a winter Olympic games when they bow into official competition tonight Jamaica time.

They will start at number 18 in the 20 team field.
