JCA Presidential hopeful Mark Neita says changes in local cricket must be made now

Second  vice-president of the Jamaica Cricket Association…..Mark Neita….says  he  is  fearful  that things will not change……..and…..it  might be too late…..to  rescue  the  sport if changes  are  not  made  now.

This is  he  says  are  among  the  reasons  for  his  decision  to  challenge  for  the  presidency  of  the  Association.

The  president  of  Melbourne  will  be  seeking  to  secure  the  majority  of  the  105  votes in the  upcoming  election  which  is  constitutionally  due  at  the  end  of  January .

Neita speaking on Irie Fm’s sports call-in show “what’s the score” last night  says  the  decline  of  the  national  game  has  reduced Jamaica to being regional minnows .

The  date  of  the  election   is  expected  to  be  finalized  tomorrow  at  a  board  meeting.
