JCF and JDF working to ensure peace along St. John’s Road in St. Catherine, following 3 murders

The police have confirmed that gang feud led to the murder of three persons along St. John’s Road in Spanish Town, St. Catherine between Sunday (May 1) and this morning (May 3).

Dead are 36 year old Shaunette White, and 60-year-old Anthony Davis, of the community.

White was killed by gunmen on Monday morning, while Davis was killed on Sunday night.

It’s also reported that a taxi operator was shot dead in the community this morning.

Responding to questions during a press briefing today, Head of Strategic Operations, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Clifford Blake said the incidents were as a result of gang violence.

He said the police and the Jamaica Defence Force, will be working to ensure peace in the community.
